  • Sea salt flakes
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 50g butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steak: Remove the steak from the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before cooking to allow it to reach room temperature. This step ensures even cooking.
  2. Season the Steak: Generously season both sides of the steak with sea salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper to ensure full coverage.
  3. Heat the Pan: Place a frying pan over medium-high heat. If cooking two steaks, ensure the pan is large enough to fit both comfortably. Alternatively, use two pans and heat them simultaneously.
  4. Cook the Steak: Add the steak to the hot pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness and desired doneness. As a guideline, a 3cm thick steak should be cooked for about 5 minutes in total. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature: 50ยฐC for rare, 60ยฐC for medium, and 70ยฐC for well-done.
