Midweek Baked Doughnuts – Cinnamon-Sugar Recipe


  • 200g Cake Flour
  • 125g White Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 50g Melted Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 Large Egg

Cinnamon-Sugar Coating:

  • 1/2 cup White Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 50g Melted Butter (for dipping doughnuts)



  1. Preheat: Preheat oven to 180ยฐC (350ยฐF). Prepare doughnut pans by spraying with non-stick spray if using the oven method.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together cake flour, white sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients:
    • In another bowl, mix together milk, melted butter, vanilla essence, and egg until smooth.
  4. Mix Batter:
    • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined and no large lumps remain. Do not overmix.
