LEGEND LOST Iconic actor has died today after being mauled to death in a shark attack, The video is hard to watch

A man renowned for his roles in films like “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and “Blue Crush” tragically died following a suspected shark attack on Oahu’s North Shore, Hawaii. The 49-year-old was deeply admired for his commitment to community.

Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi expressed his condolences, noting, “It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of an incredibly dedicated individual from our community who tragically lost his life today.” He commended the man’s heroic efforts and dedication to ensuring the safety of both residents and visitors.

The Honolulu Emergency Services Department reported that the shark attack occurred off Goat Island shortly before 1 p.m. local time on June 23. The victim, found with multiple bite wounds, was declared deceased at the scene by paramedics after being brought ashore.

Acting Chief Kurt Lager described him as a beloved figure within the community. Emilia Perry, his wife, shared that her husband passed away doing what he loved, in the place he cherished most.

He was also a celebrated figure in the surfing world, particularly known for his expertise at Pipeline, one of the world’s most famous surf breaks, located off Ehukai Beach Park on Oahu’s north side. Close friends with singer Jack Johnson, he was a lifelong resident of Oahu’s east side and ran a surf school on the North Shore with his wife.

Surfing icon Kelly Slater and many others from the surfing community expressed their sorrow, remembering him for the passionate and vibrant life he led.
